DEW’s Background

Growing up just like most young boys I was dead set on becoming a firefighter. Along the way I discovered a way to be involved without actually working the call - and that was through being a Stringer. About 2 years into my journey a Captain from a local Fire Department reached out about doing photography for a recruit training day. From that day on, I started being more involved with Law Enforcement and Emergency Services. I’ve been able to see emergency calls through both the viewfinder of a camera and the business end of a lens - and I’ve enjoyed every second of each. I’ve decided to expand from just Fire Photography and Stringing to photography for hire! I have nearly 5 years of photography experience including both professional shoots and emergency shoots. I specialize in capturing unexpected and un-scripted moments. I went to Cuesta College to receive a completion certificate for Emergency Medical Technician, and became a California licensed EMT in early 2025. I'm looking forward to turning your dream into a reality!
